Children's Picture Books. Study of U.S. First Ladies.

Thank you for visiting my website. You've likely received a query from me. Yes, I am looking for agent representation or a sale with a traditional publishing company. I am currently writing both fiction and nonfiction picture books but nonfiction has become my sweet spot. If you are considering a picture book written by me, it would be my picture book debut.

Yes. After I graduated college with a degree in journalism, I was published in local newspapers and magazines in the Washington, DC area for several years. I later pivoted to a career in the corporate world as a communication strategist where I wrote extensively across many channels but without a byline. Today, I have returned to publishing occasional articles (see News). I also make my scholarly publishing debut in 2025 as a contributing author in a book on US First Ladies.

In adult books, fiction is my passion but since I've become involved with the study of First Ladies, I'm obsessed with all books about all First Ladies! My recent favorites:
